anyone have the kp components 6 link?

I ordered one for my 2004 ranger yesterday and was wondering if anyone has it. anyone have any problems with it or anything? also does it completely raise the gas tank to where it's definently not going to hit the pavement?

thats a good kit my boy has it on a 98 ranger .If i remember correctly it doesn't move the tank.I'll ask him and get back to you im me so i dont forget

yes it moves the tank up about 3/4 inch still not high enuff tho. have used several of KP's link set-ups. by far the best out there. I have just the gas tank x-member on my 98 but altered it a bit to bring tank up a full 1 1/4" no problems

I have this kit on my truck. Good kit, and if you get into trouble putting the kit in there real good with helping you out. I have a little rubbing on mt lower back bar on my tire going around a corner fast but other then that the kit is rad.

tim what all did you have to modify to bring the tank up? and do you have pics?

the gas tank mount for the strap gets moved up 3/4 inch so theres no modification needed, its made int the bracket.

I have the 6-link kit on my 01' Ranger, works great.

get a fuel cell and you dont have the tank problem.

I have a fuel cell but I don't want to run it, thats why I'm going to modify the crossmember to run the tank
