This all started because I didn't have the truck all the way on the ground when set up the bracket location. Rode good, set up at ride height, for the bag to be at the install height but once it was adjustable I realized it wasn't all the way down! Then saw the bag was at a angle when compressed.Made new lower brackets, moved off the axle 5" forward & 2" lower, will try the RE 6's I have for the front.

OK for some reason I think I'm not getting what exactly you are saying but I will give it a shot. If you replace the sleve bags with the RE6's and your new bracket is 2 inches lower your new abount of drop will be 3" IF you are not axel to frame. The RE6 fully compressed is right about 3" tall and most sleeves are about 4". Why won't the Sleeve bags work in your new bracket location?

The sleeve bags will work, & that's what I plan on using, the RE6 won't lift enough. Problem is setting the plates up so that the bag isn't going into a big angle when aired up. 2" of movement at the axle, when the bags are full the bottom metal band is completely exposed at the rear & not at the front. Moving the top plate back 1" helps some.
