Do you have any pics of your suspension, maybe with the tire off? I'll help ya out. And, maybe post the URL to the exact SD kit you have.
Just for general info purposes though...the lower button gets welded to the lower control arm. I would suggest leaving the compression wire on the shock, dropping your truck to the ground and then with the shock loosely bolted into the upper mount and the stud going through the bottom, mock it up on your truck. Tack it in place and make sure it's not going to interfere with your suspension articulation, tie rods, etc. If your good at welding then your tacks should hold when you cut the cable and air the truck back up to make sure you have no binding. Then finish running a bead. Good luck!
