has any body put an irs in a hardbody, and if so what did you go with?

there have been a lot of hardbodies with IRS's.. depends on your wheel size as to what a lot of ppl use.. most if staying with 18's go with the RX7 or 300z rear end. i've heard from a few ppl, laying a 300 on anything bigger and getting much lift, isnt a good combo.

the comment above is not true. wheel size does not really play into the decision. i was running 20s with a 300 irs no problems. its all about how and where you mount any irs. dont go posting comments on the word of a what you heard from someone who knows someone that knew someone that did something that someone saw.

it wasnt word of word of word.. dick.. Ice at house of hack in alabama built a frame for his hardbody awhile back and had a 300 on it and couldnt get enough lift to satisfy him for 20's so he scrapped it.. look him up, def not a hack or a 'dumbass' builder.

Ihad 22's on my 4runner body dropped and lifted above the tire with an rx7 IRS. Glen from ohio had a 300zx IRS and juice and ran 19's laying rocker. Big wheels are no problem with irs. It's all about where you mount the diff in relaton to the hub

it seems to be ice at the house of hack in alabama is the only one with this problem d**k. so like i said word of a word. there are plenty of 300 and rx7 irs out there on bigger wheels than 18s that get alot of lift.

It did not get enough lift to satisfy HIM, not everybody wants or needs insane amounts of lift..

Take your meds and calm down man.
