astro doors

Does any one know how to get the front doors off a 99 astro. I have to replace the passnger side door and the hinges are welded on. I havnt realy sat down and looked at it. I just wanted to see if any had any idear if i can just pop the pin out or if i have to cut the hinge off and weld them back on

you need to pull the spring. then knock out the pins... its a pain in the ace.

There is a tool to pull the spring. It should be pretty cheap and you can get it at the local parts store.

yeah what he said getin the spring back in is a pain in the ass the doors fall off easy. i always had problems with my top pin fallen out all the time. almost lost my door once lol.
