oil pan question

Asking for a friend, will a one piece oil pan off of a 2.3 fit on a 2.6, if you remove both the cast aluminum upper pan and the steel sump?

not sure but i can section yours for you if your lookin for clearance. i did my pan and pick up tube 1"

ya it willwork if u haven't figured that out yet - its what i did, it's a bitch to get the cast one off of the 2.6 though
