i got a 92 dak and started baggin the front today i got the passenger side tore apart and i got some full size chevy cups, i see the lower cup will drop in with some grinding but how exactly do you do the upper cup? also is there any tips or tricks need to know, i also have 2500 bags for the front i was going to drill out the cups to work with them is this ok? thanks

the upper cup slips in fine right now and i'm aware of the trimming but how do you guys mount the upper cup ?

1. You can weld a nut to the cup then thread a piece of all thread up and then put a nut on top. 2. Ive never done this but Ive heard of the cups getting tacked in place. This would making changing a bag pretty difficult.

so you can just set the upper cup in there without bolting or welding it???? wouldn't there be alot of shifting around???

i had mine floating for awhile but when you lay out to drag they rattle pretty bad so that is why i did what master fabber suggested for you to do.

ive done a bunch of them with no problems, just let it ride....... if they are loose when you lay the truck out, you are doing something wrong.......

I agree with this guy, my uppers are floating and never had a problem.

if yours are making noise sounds like its over bagged in the front to be and when it airs out the cups sink a bit out of the pocket and the cup rattles
