Well mayweather won by decision but let me say this if it wasn't for de la hoya that fight would have. Been garbage de la hoya put on a hell of a show. Boxing is back!

Yeah..I was a little disappointed by the fight. Kinda felt like Mayweather was all talk the whole time.

I think De Lahoya deserved the fight. But then again throwing a 1000 punches and landing 30% percent dont win a fight.

can we all say rematch...

I deleted my last couple post due to me being very very drunk off crown but to put it more nicely I thought Mayweather was nothing but a punk ass beotch. I too just read the headlines stating a possible rematch. Even though I thought Mayweather beat him, I still thought he was a big bitch for touting (sp?) him the way he did. And what was up with the mexican shorts and hat he wore out to ring? Even if they do rematch, I think Mayweather will still win but I would absolutely love to see De La Hoya beat his freakin ass. I would gladly pay Directv another $60

the mexican shorts probably had some traditional meaning to them...and to taunt de la hoya. Floyds uncle was named the "mexican slayer" so it probably had something to do with it.
The taunting and shit talking is what makes mayweather, mayweather. I find his actions as good entertainment. Also watched a bootleg tape of the fight. No way De La Hoya even came close to winning. He through a million punch's to make it look like he was winning, in reality most were blocked or misses.....and he almost got himself knocked the fuck out! my opinion, mayweather 8 rounds to 2, with 2 going either way.

Damnit!!!! i didnt see the match and dont get a
newspaper so im just now finding out. i hate that loud mouth prick Maywheather. from what yall are saying it was a pretty close fight. i just hate seeing people run their mouth and not be able to back it up. as much as Floyd ran his mouth he shoulda beat the hell outta Oscar. i was for Oscar,Fuck Floyd, and i hope they do have a rematch!
