i have an 87 toyota pick-up and i have been looking around to see if swaping my spindles fros side to side will give me 2" lower up front...i was also whondering what brake booster i could use, cause my tire rubs

you kinda lost me there; do you mean putting the left one on the right side & so on? if so then no it won't work, but if you're talking about putting them on upside down, i doubt that would work either.

here's a link to some pretty cheap belltech 2" drop spindles...

good luck...

yeah im talking about just takeing the left one and put it upside down on the right side i have been told my many peolpe that it will work because the balls are the same size but what booster should i go to or how to move my one now?

The balljoint is a different size from top to bottom.

And a spindle swap will not work. Theres only a few vehicles out there that this works on, because of the simplistic spindle design. Mostly 50s cars that use a spindle thats nearly identical from side to side, and had drums.

Get a booster from a 79-83 Toyotoa 2WD truck. They are 8" diameter and will bolt in place.

Phatboi. I was sure I had him convinced. I didn't think he'd do it though.

LOL, I really thought he was going to at one time. It would have been funny if had done it.

Man, I could only imagine the steering issues that you would have if you were to build some custom arms that would accomodate upside down spindles. I think you would need monstertruck level steering dampeners. And I'm not even going into the camber issues you would end up with...

my toyota lays out on a 225/30 20 with stock spindles and control arms..
