What are you using? MS Paint, Photoshop, PSP. But to answer your question, I believe you can use the lasso tool. Just trace around what you want and cut it. Thats how I would do it. I'm sure someone with alot more experience will have more options for you

you got it right Ken... just lasso what you DONT want on the truck and fit in what you do want....

besides i tryed getting tips also when i was just starting HAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHA .... *clears throat* it doesnt work.

all you can do is practice you will either catch on quickly to the concept or be somewhat slower.

Ok here is a tip.... I never use the lasso tool and I never use the magic wand tool. The "Layer Mask" is your best friend.

pen tool. layer mask. cleanest way to do it. it will give a sharp fluid cut.

i do all the lines and cutting in illustrator or corel draw.. clean cuts.. clean stripe lines for most colors other than white.. for some reason white break lines like to look pixelated
