Ive heard of rear ends being shifted to one side from the factory before, i was wondering if anyone has noticed if that is the case on a bubble caprice. Im not 100% sure on the year of the car.

Yes I have. Just minimal amounts though. Do you have a problem with one side rubbing a wheelwell or something?
Also may want to verify that the rearend is centered with the frame and that the body isn't sitting a little crooked on the frame.

yea, its a buddys car. its lifted on 24s and the tires rub the frame only on the drivers side. I havent been able to measure up the lengthened trailing arms yet, but wanted to see if the myth ive heard was true.

its just weird cuz the car tracks straight, and looks level from side to side. i told him id step in the frame a bit to add clearance, but if the locating is off, id wanna fix that first.

tell him to bag it the way they should be and it should fix your problem.

There are various companies out there that make tubular, adjustable links for these cars to help w/positioning the rear axle assys. Do a search online for them. You should find some products out there that can help you w/this problem. Hope this helps some.
