i was wondering if adiesel 3/4 ton 92-99 suburbanwould be more then stout enough to tow a 40 ft trailer a 1/2 ton burban and a 86 toyota? and maybe evena golf cart?

i wouldnt think so your talking about 10,000-15,000 pounds on a bumper hitch it is possible just not with an older 3/4 ton burban thats like one ton dually work but to be sure goggle the year burb and look for gross towing weight but im amagining it some where around 7,500 total gross

like dude saifd up there.... thats a lot of weight for a bumper pull trailer.....

the diesel would do just fine wieght wise. i just wouldnt recommend it

i was talkin to a friend about myidea yesernight and his neighbor overheard our convo and said he had swapped 1 ton spirngs and a 1 ton axle under his 1/2 ton chevy and said it was great.....think i should go that route?

1 ton frames are built differently than a 1/2 ton frame there taller in height and stronger

i dont think youre catching what they are saying. the truck itself shouldnt have a prob towing it, its just that is a lot of weight to be carried by a bumper hitch. meaning, it would be safer to have a gooseneck. you cant have a gooseneck in a burban without cutting the hell outta it basically making it a truck.

best thing to do is hook to the trailer and see if it can handle it. that is a lot of weight though. everyone told me i wouldnt be able to tow my trailer but i have no problems.
