is it ok to run one solenoid for two compressors or should i have two solenoids ?? thanks

it depends on the solenoid, and the compressors' draw.. say 2 viairs, i'd run either (1) 30-40 amp relay per compressor, or a Stinger 80amp, etc.. or higher. Post back the compressors you have and I'm sure you'll get some exact ratings so you can be positive.

i bought a hole kit from a guy it caim with 2 compressores 2 tanks two solenoids two relays the relays are 40 amp sorry i cant put a pic up on here but it is a Black 3/4HP DC5000 on airbagit.com

im just not sure what will happen if i only use one when i should use two will it just blow the relay??

thanks for your help

Yea, well you should be running a fuse too.. so the fuse would blow before the relay. BUT if no fuse, then it'll blow the relay.

I'd suggest picking up another 40AMP relay at any parts store, and using one for each compressor. If those compressors still individually burn up relays, upgrade to 80AMP relays.
