im baggin a 56 dodge that i want to convert to a arm front end but i hear the mustang 2 dont get that much lift cuz of the ball joints..what else should i use?

If I remember correctly that 56 dodge is built like an old chev. You could prob get away with using a 76-80 camaro clip. That will get yea the disc brakes and power steering also. and you can buy a complete car for less than $1000 thats always a plus.

i was thinking that but i was also thinkin c-10 front end? idk i jus want to hear some opinions before i go spend a bunch of money

The ball joints are not the problem on the Mustang 2 fronts. They use Chrystler screw-in style ball joints that get good throw if set up right. The problem is the spindle, they are too short (from balljoint to balljoint) leaving little room for bag mounts ect. Often the lift is limited where the upper arm hits the upper bag mount. S-10 clips are popular with rodders building older stuff, because of the arms and what not that is available. But if you want something more custom you could use a mustang 2 and build new uppers to resolve clearence issues.

My buddy has a 52' Dodge truck bagged and bodied on 18's and 20's and he used a mustang clip. He's had no problems that I can recall. I'll see if I can dig up a picture.
