OK my wife has a 2003 accord 2.4...Friday she went to leave for work it didnt crank. The original battery was in it, so I went out and bought a new one(dude at autozone) tested the battery said it was bad. Anyway, new battery did the trick all weekdend. Yesterday the car did not start again. Must be the altenator then right? I ordered a new one, got it installed today. Jumped the car and drove it to work myself. NOW at work its totally dead. I am now looking online for anything on this Electronic Load Detector...anyone had any trouble with these? what was the fix?

I have ran across this problem a time or two at work. I have these tools to help me find just what is draining the battery down..

sounds like to me u have a parasitic draw coming from somewhere. I am a tech at honda i have not seen anything that could cause it. I would start w/ if u have anything aftermarket, alarm remote start anything like that, and unplug it and see if that gets rid of the draw.

the car has NO aftermarket parts. I dont think its a draw issue. I think its more of a failure to charge issue. BUT, like is said i DID install a new alternator and new battery. I think the car is just running off of the battery until it dies. AT least that how it seems. I have never really anything quiet like this. I DO not this car has this " electronic load indeictor" I think it like controls the charging of the battery. Maybe I am totally wrong.
