Need some more ponies

ok how can i get some more ponies to make my truck not take off like a bus ....how much more horses does a header give me ...or what cheap mods can i do ...please any help will help

Header, cam, bigger valves.

I have a Thorley header, EngnBldr Torker cam, EngnBldr oversized stainless valves, and my truck hauls ass. Full exhaust too, and an MSD box and coil.

Port and polish the head, lightweight flywheel, aftermarket carb or reworked efi, electric fan.

Depends on really how deep your pockets are or how well you can modify stuff to work.
