Okay here is my problem. In these trucks being built, I see some of these guys putting the Filter/Dryer directly after the compressors, before the tank. Doesn't water condensation form from the air cooling down in the tank?

Also... is a check valve necessary? I would think so. Just looking for a little more insight. Thanks

If you keep the water traps drained, they'll pull most of the water out of the air. Water can't condensate in the tank if it's been removed already. The filter was designed to trap water molecules and let air molecules through, whether it's liquid water or water vapor.

I had a line dryer in my Mazda right after the EDC(your 210) to pull all the blown by oil out of the system more than the water. It did collect a fair amount of water too though. I never had a water acumulation problem in my tanks other than when my trap would fill up quicker than normal on very humid summer days and bypass the dryer. Even then it would just barf out my dump valves along with thew oil that got thru with the water while the trap was bypassing.
