cut both sides behind the ball joint stright down to the bottom section of metal. bend them down equally and check them with an angle finder to make surethey are identical on both sides. put them on t he truck (with the ball joints all ready flipped or relocated whatever you want to call it) and lay the truck out. if it doesnt lay then take them back off and bend some more. once the truck lays out completely and everything is even and square add a piece of 3'16's metal to the gap and weld it up solid. grind and paint and you are done. easy to do hope the pics help you. make sure before you do this your ball joints are already relocated. slide the upper ball joint out of the control arm and bolt it on top of the upper control arm and add some sort of shim to the inside of the control arm so it doesnt colapse when you tighten it down. take the lowers off the bottom and move them to the top of the lower control arm. then cut your arms and it will lay out on 20's no problem.
