You will need to buy or make torsion style brackets, and '2500's would be the common size.. (larger may be possible with more trimming)..
As for spindles, I can't remember from my friends who had Pups what they had to do to completely lay.. but notching the lower control arm could work, but don't hack the shit out of it.. only do it if there's a way to reinforce it so it's safe. Otherwise, spindles would be the right way to go.. cost a little more, but should also fix the camber a little. You might have to cut the inner fender wells and relocate some things once you are laying.. I guess you just need some tips from other pup owners really..
