I've got a 1990 toy extra cab , it my work truck , any suggestions about the best way to drop it without using bags , the rims and tyre are 225/50/17(25.85 inches or 657mm)

on my 89 ex cab yota before i stock floored i just use torsin bar`s for the front and blocks and took out a leaf... or you could do hydros.

we slammed my buddys yota to the point it was tuckin a good 2.5" of the stock 14" balloon tire.

we fliped the upper and lower balljoints, cranked and re-indexed the torsion bars, removed bump stop and cut off the mount, and cut out fender wells in the front. in the rear we did a 3" angled drop block, removed middle leaf spring and a baby c-notch in the frame.

if you go that low, i suggest rebuilding the tranny x-member, it hangs below the frame and you will drag the piss outta it over speed bumps.

wanna say it was about 3" off the ground. pretty much as low as you can go (static) before it becomes undrivable.
