I called a interior place yesterday about getting my headliner done in tweed and the guy told me you cannt put tweed on a headliner because the glue would go through the tweed. Is this true?

if he uses to much glue, you got to do a few light applications in order to not let it seep through

yes and no it just depends on how much glue they use and just tell him to spray a little bit and then just stitch it up in tan so that you do not see the line, its works just fine good luck

Again if you use too much glue it will seep through where ever you use tweed. You CAN tweed your headliner. You apply a light coat to the tweed and a coat to the headliner pad. Wait until the glue is not all liquid anymore but tacky and then you can form the tweed to the headliner pad. It works best if you do it in smaller sections if your headliner is really big.

I have most of my interior in tweed. Just dont spray too much and just like above let it get tacky then put in on. JIMMY
