u will need 2 find out how much freon the system takes, there will be a sticker under the hood that will tell u. Should be some where around 2 pounds. you can get a kit at the part store that comes with freon and a hose. you need to start the truck, turn the a/c on high/max ac. hook the hose to the low side of the a/c. it will be the smaller valve on the larger line. let it run 4 a few min. untill the a/c system has sucked in all the freon. hope this helps
