1st time..

puttin on custom control arms for the first time.... on my 81 luv.... any tips or tricks,,,or wishes..

you should just be able to unbolt the old ones and bolt on the new ones, unless they are custom, then you should have someone that knows what they are doing help..

or you could just weld them on..

no...not bolt on... these are the ones that kyle parscal built, they are full custom uppers (weld on tabs)n full custom lowers (made to delete the forward strut bars)..im pretty confident in my ability to do this... but just lookin for sumthin that most might overlook...like can i plate under the tab for more support or is that small amount going to throw off my camber??

If you want to plate the top of the frame go for it, then just shave that amount off the tabs themselves. And take lots of measurements before cutting the upper mount off, so that its in the same spot.

ahhh...never thought about shavin the tab... i like that
