The older Slam bags would crack on the outer layer over time, but newer bags have a different rubber compound that is more UV resistant. We've been selling the newer formula for about a year and a half, and I haven't seen any of them cracking.

yeah... they were all from a few years ago... now that i think about it.

i have slams on the back and they get hella lift but look like they are gona blow cause all the cracks in them but i have been told that it wont hurt them
stones on the front and every other truck has had stones all around and never a problem

The cracking on the outside of the slams is just the 'cosmetic' layer of rubber, it won't hurt anything...

I've used all 3, and sold all 3.. never any complaints. I'm going with slams for more lift/ride quality though on my new project (finally another truck 88 s10)
