Hey everyone im new and I have a quick question. Do celica bucket seats bolt on to my existing seat rails in my 90 2wd pickup? or do i need to drill some new holes for the celica rails.

well, i used 85 MR2 buckets, and they fit the floors well, i didnt try swapping rails, since i had to total (bench) and needed 4 (buckets). but all i had to do was align it at the front holes (driver was a bit bent, so just one) and drill the backs. i spaced the back up just a bit for angle/height. i have some pics, here ya go. http://s103.photobucket.com/albums/m160/standardbyker88/bucket%20seat%20swap/

Thank you.. I might need to start looking to find some MR2 seats around here in Boise.

i found mine on craigslist for 60 bucks. i got them from isuzusponge here on ssm ironically. works for me. i think its like 85-89 bodystyle is what i have. i got some special 85-86 upholstery version. i love them. also, check out 4runners. and other toyotas. if it has that front bent bracket, it will be alot easier...look at your floor to see what i mean. or the pics.

I @ WORK TODAY SCREWING OFF AND I LOOKED ON MY PARTS CATALOG(BY THE WAY I WORK AT A TOYOTA DEALERSHIP),AND ALL THAT IT SHOWS DIRECTLY MATCHING ARE 88-95 4-RUNNER AND ALL TRUCK BUCKETS. HOPE THAT HELPS A LITTLE.

Hey thanks a bunch. I might look at 4runners too. I just want to get rid of the 40-60 bench.

i have both mr2 & 4 runners & i'm not really sure which i like better, but they both bolt right up. the mr2's back rest is a little higher so i can't lay it back very far (my toy is standard cab) but they look better than the runners. the runners are nice, they just look kinda stock...

I have some Saturn SL1 seats. 3 holes line up and the last one sits flat on the floor so you can just drill a hole. No spacers or modifying anything realy, way easy. Just weld a nut on the bottom of the cab floor.

I ended up getting a free one delivered to me. Lol. I told you I was probably getting the free one. I just gotta get it mounted and coveed so the buckets can come out permanently.
