i have a 4.3 v6 in my 03 s10.. its bagged and bodydropped 3 3/4 inches.. im in the process of removing all the a/c components and some other things. i was wondering if the box that the cruise control hooks up to is necessary at all... i figure that gm made the trucks without cruise and it wouldnt be necessary but im not sure... there's a cable connected to the box, as well as a wiring harnes... any precautions i need to know of, or if removing any of this junk will mess up the way it runs...

never had any problems with my cruise unit being gone i would take it off and put up and be sure before you throw it in the trash

yea i messed around with it last night...i got all the a/c stuff out and my cruise control stuff too.. i just need my firewall shaved up now there's a huge hole in the firewall behind the a/c housing... my next question, is where everyone is putting their fusebox... mine is mounted to my core support right now... but the huge wiring harness is is all over the place.. how big of a pain is it to move it inside??? if you've relocated your fusebox, post up some pics so i can get some ideas please.....thanks guys
