I put projection lights on my F150 and am having a hard time getting them adjusted right. Using the factory adjusters don't do much. Is there another way you are supposed to adjust them.

there is this tool you can use, its kinda like a ratchet and it attaches to each of the 3 bolts on the headlight. There are two types you can buy, I bought the ratchet didnt see the other tool before...http://www.directool.com/dtProductDetails.asp?tools=1&sid=27E7N15&SearchString=ford&dtid=57E17N35&pid=10482E3492N6985

i have tried adjusting them with the 4mm wrench but it's like they r not moving. wondered if there was some type of adjustment on the light themselves instead of the housing.

my ranger ones have been on for almost a year and I still can't figure out how to aim them properly. I've even lifted my truck up and down in the front and they still never once have seemed to point straight up the road.

take a look inside the housing from the backside. Some aftermarket projector headlamp assemblies have adjustments inside the housing. These are used to adjust the projector assy w/o altering the positioning of the entire headlamp assy. Not sure if yours are like this or if they are even an aftermarket piece but I hope this helps some. Good luck. It would be a lil easier helpin you out if I could see a pic of the top and possibly the rear of the assy in and out of the truck if possible. Sorry I couldn't help more.

when you adjust the protection assembly is it like focusing a flashlight bulb or something different?

usually its just up and down and side to side adjustment.
