gas tank help 04 silverado

hey whats up. so were bagging my 04 silverado step side ext cab. well something neds to be done with the gas tank as it hangs down below the fram. so i was wondering if anyone had any suggestions. i was thinking of just getting the one from devious customs but it runs about $400 and i plan to body drop my truckl (stock floor under the cab) so i think i would end up replacing the tank again after that. i would like to fix it just once right now so i dont have to worry about it again. anyone got any suggestions? oh and i dont want to cut into the insde of my cab. thanks

Grip, he wants something to fit in the stock location. We've already got the air tanks and compressors located behind the axle, and its got a KP 4-link on it. He also doesn't want to redo the crossmembers in front of the axle if he does not have to.

id redo the crossmember if i had to i do have some extra square toobing sitting around. im just worried if we put it going from left to right between both frame rails that the drive shaft might hit it. and it would be cool if i could keep the tank the same size.
