The truck is cut floored about 1 1/2 to 1 3/4 inches. I bought an ACC black carpet kit off ebay hoping it would work out....but not so sure its going to after just messing with it a few minutes.

Does everyone usually just buy bulk carpet material then cover it that way? Was hoping to be able to get away with the kit, but not sure it will happen since we didnt have the interior pieces at the shop.

custom carpet custom sewn for the new floor by an interior shop is the only way to go.

I got the ACC kit and asked for them not to cut the ends. It hangs out the doors like an inch.

I haven't tried to git it well yet though, I got kinda pissed trying to fit it under my custom gas pedal and gave up and put my seats back in. So I might have somethign made or give it to the interior shop and tell them to make it work. Lol.

Hrmm, interesting...of course, not sure if just having more carpet on the sides would help, though that may be needed.

Thinking I am going to buy a bunch of bulk carpet and spray adhesive and give it a run myself. Waste of the ACC kit...doh.

I think I might too, because my driveline tunnel is pretty high. But the seats might cover it if I have to split the carpet.

i went to a carpet place and just got a huge piece of automotive carpet for my charger. I just got some spray adhesive, foam and it went right in.

My ACC kit for my 89, had about 3" extra on each side and 6" extra up the firewall, went in easy, looks pretty good.
