Dually bedside flares?

I was wondering since the flares are made of fiberglass what is the best way to splice and riase them for running a big wheel and tire combo. I know im going to use more fiberglass but what are you guys using to get the shape right without having a mess? and what steps are you using when u r fiberglassing?
