my cousin is arguing with me, and he doesnt believe me. most cars have r134a in them. is this true with his mustang?

Most likely r12 unless someone has changed it. Best way to tell are the fittings on the a/c lines. Look at a car that you know has R134 (all new cars) and see if the fittings are the same. If they arent its r12. You can by retrofit kits for older cars to run R134 for under 20 bucks most of the time.

could easily be r12, just look at the stickers under the hood.

yup its factory r12, they didnt change every car over to 134 till 96

yeah what james said. usually anything 96 & older is R12 unless someone has already done the conversion to R134
