I'm wanting to bag my 99 explorer it is 4x4 and I would have to switch it to 2wd components to remove the front dif and cv joints. It has over 200000 miles on it so I really can't sell it for a 2wd. The front suspension on these hangs about 6" lower than the frame. I figure if I'm spending the money should I switch to a different front end. I've seen toyota mentioned alot what about s-10? What years? Any suggestions would be appreciated.

I'd just go with a 89-95 Toyota front clip. You're gonna have to do a lot of mods for that vehicle anyways, so do it right the first time.

Should I use drop spindles with that?

Any other suggestions?

Got any idea on the diameter of the brakes? Any one make a big brake kit that won't cost me my first born?
