So I got old piece of shit , 1989 F-150 with 5.0 in it, I was thinking about taking the motor out of it and updating most of it, and the question is this motor to old and outdated to bolt on my V6 2000 Ranger engine mounts..?.. PLease help

my buddy just put a v8 in a 00 ranger i know he used the 302 engine plates from a 02 explorer with a 302 and modified a set of stang header to work and hasnt had a problem with it at all
