I planed on doing over axle to make it a simple quick swap from hydraulics to air. But after bringing the bag and brackets out to my truck to check I noticed my upper link bar is in the way. So I need a plan B now. I was thinking of getting the upper bar gusseted and mounting it on the bar or behind axle. What do you all suggest?

oh this is also my 2nd 4-link so im not doing a 3rd i just want a simple swap from hydraulics to air not another rebuild.

for ride and ease.. i'd go with a set of firestone f9000 sleeve bags mounted behind the axle with a set of doestch tech shocks.

just make sure you set the shocks to fully extend before your bag does or the sleeves will pull apart, but they are hands down the best bag for over axle/behind axle applications.

You could get 2 more bars & mount them toward the rear. then mount the bags on them.. like seth did (notice the 2 black bars)

its is a good idea but i have a blazer gas tank in the rear with no room for anything else. I am pretty cramped.

I tried ......... then trussing the top bar & mountin the bags on that would be the next easiest fix i can see......

limited space and easy fix sucks haha. I guess bag over top bar it is.

Is it tore apart already? I wouldn't mind seeing it with the bed off to give me a better idea of your space constraints. I have some ideas that involve some round tubing that may work out for you. If you want give me a call so we can discuss some things.
