umm no it shouldn't be. 2 links are dumb to begin with IMO but welding it to the rear end is definitley not what you want to do. At least the ubolts have some give to deal with the stresses.

all that work and running a 2-link... i'll never understand it.

2 links are the best, some of the most driven trucks are 2 linked, and i guarantee the 2 links from IF have been on the road longer than anyone, couple trucks been bagged like 10-12 yrs

if you weld it to the rear end, you stand a greater chance of breaking something, like cracking the axle housing.......... but like corey says, sucks all the work just to put a 2 link on it........

i have a 2 link on my truck and it rides great. i think what blitch is saying should be welded to the rear end is the panhard. at least i hope thats what he is trying to say! lol

The reason the rear end is not welded is just in case if I have to shorten the rear axle.

I am trying to avoid it but there is always a chance I might have to.

Yeah dude I will get with you on the door handles later today.

Looks good so far. Is there a panhard bar, I cant see one in the pics.
lancers   +1y
No there is no pan hard bar but I have had multiple people tell me to put one on though.

It would be easy and it will help keep the axle located.
