ok i traded my truck and some cash, i asked the dude for his blazer and 1K and i gave him a payment option. He gave me 400 and i gave him 2 months to give me the rest now its been a month and dude wont answer any of my calls or text and he wrecked my truck. I got dudes dl # ssn# and address were he lives. the whole deal was put on paper and signed by the 2 of us and i gave him my pink slip but put myself as a lien holder. he has 3 weeks to go before the date we agreed on if he dosent give me the money what can i do ?
what is the legal way to go about this, i just dont want to go to his house and repo my wrecked truck ............any advice ?
yeah, a signed written agreement is going to win your case, he can say he signed it all he wants....but he did, so he agreed to everything. dont wait it out though, start getting a lawyer lined up just in case.
i think im gona do that he still has til july 22 to come up with the 600 he owes me I even gave him another option i told the dude ill pick the wrecked truck up and call it even pictures of the truck in my profile ....
really up to you. would you rather have 600 bones in your pocket, or you're old wrecked truck. Tough decision since you only made $400 and its going to take alot more than that to fix it. I know if it were me, i'd take the loss to have my truck back.
