theres honestly no need to break in the subs.....

Thanks for the input! The manufacturer did the break in and I trust they know there subs better than I do. Also, I have read many articals that say to break in at low volume for an extended period of time. Even Crutchfield says to do a 20 hr break in! I guess there are different opinions out there but, better safe that sorry!

sorry, i thought YOU were breaking them in. Well, the manufacturers usually do it, so there is no reason for you personally to do it. It's really just a safety precaution on there end, but not really necessary. They all say this for their protection (crutchfield and the like).

yes it's better to break in your subs. You can run them at a low volume level for 24 hrs. on a 50hz test tone, it will do the trick.

okay. your right. and you can prove this? have you ever played full out when you got the subs? how bout a side by side comparison? Do you really think that these guys with walls and shit play them at a low volume when they get them. no. they bust em out and get on the meter tuning. they run equipment for the whole season on a well tuned setup. the manufacturer runs them for a while, and even if they didnt you can run them full tilt.
