So I'm driving my truck about an inch off ground when I run over 2 reflectors. Minutes later my wife points out that my speedo is acting crazy. I look down and the needle is bouncing around going from 50 to 100. This last about a minute or two and so I raise my truck back up and it goes away. So I'm thinking that's weird. Then I look just a little too the left and and notice my ABS light is on. I tap my brakes but they still work. Note that I took off my emergency brake about a month ago but the light never came on before. So, when I come to a stop and turn engine off i get a SECURITY light comes on. So, now I'm saying what the fuck Anyone ever have or seen this before. I restarted engine and ABS and security light still come on.

It's your speed sensor. I don't know where yours is on your truck it is newer than mine. Mine is in the tailshaft of the trans.

would a speed sensor trigger a SECURITY warning? Also, I just got back home and noticed the warning still lit up. Is that powered by battery or should it be ignition on?

speed sensor would cause the speedometer to act up, as far as your abs light check the wires to your brakes, one of the reflectors might have flew up and hit a wire, its no big deal and really has no function cause we take that bullshit off. the warning light now thats something that has me lost

ITS YOUR SPEED SENSOR CHECK THE FUSES OR CHECK THE RELAY ON IT THATS ALL I CAN SAY

Every sensor on a vehicle that is relative to movment of the vehicle is determined by the output reading of the speed sensor. That includes stopping it, BRAKES!
