how to make 74 gmc lay frame

I have bagged many many minis in my life and some full size. i can bag the rear of my 74 easy. but what i need help with is the front, i understand there is too ways. i think i will go with z'ing the frame. so i was wondering if someone had pics on step by step steps on how to perform the z'ing of the frame. thanks for the help. post soon

Also does the z'ing of the frame mess up any steering or anything like that.

also depending your tire size, there are different ways you need to do the front setup.. upper plate and cup will only lay on a 20 i believe.. 22's or more people have cut some pocket away and gone upper and lower cups, or some ppl jus cut the whole front pocket off and weld in a bigger version of a torsion bar front end brackets.

2 & 1/2" Z will lay u flat.
Yes you will have to clear the steering shaft.
Spindles and arms and mine layed 22's hard. I had plates from suicidedoors.com.
