Ok I install a fuel cell over this weekend and im trying to work up an inline fuel pump. But i cant seem to get the wiring right. I had planned orignally to hook it up to the stock wiring but i got nothing. So then i tried the ignition switch wire which i thought was the yellow and green wire under the dash but all i got was the horn to honk. Any help here fellas would be appreciated. thanks

ok there are 4 wires on the stock pump. 1 is hot, 1 is gauge, 1 is ground for the tank 1 is ground for the sending unit. use a test light.

I didnt use a test light but I tried all combinations of the four wires on positive and negative of fuel pump. But still none of them worked. They are yellow/white, black, red/black, and ornage/black. Its a msd fuel pump also. 02 ranger 3.0 v6
