I just cut around the inside and back of the rad suport body mount. moved it down and welded it back up. i had to cut the inner fender aprons and remove the rad support to get better access to the frame. i also pipe notched the the crossmember for the lower rad hose.

i looked and don't have any pics, but i cut the ears off, dropped them and gusseted them, and then notched the x-member for the lower rad. hose

ok well i was going to cut the rails in front of the steering box and drop the whole front member including body mounts and all then plate it on all 4 sides. i think it will work that way. thanks for your help people.

if i just take the body mounts off and take the rubber pieces off under them ans screw it them back on would that work for a body drop and wat else would i have to do ?

you will get a truck that feels like ass to drive, best bet is to just cut and do a traditional bodydrop.

in 25 years of minitruckin I think you are the first one to think of that.

just kidding. What will happen is the body will drop about 1/2 inch, the distance the floorpan is away from hitting the top of the frame, and you will be stuck with a really poor ride.
