Does anyone have their bags mounted directly to the lower control arm. The problem I have came across is when my truck is laid out the bags are hitting the frame. I'm running slam speciality bags. I have the upper and lower bag brackets on the bags and was wanting to know can I take the lower bag mount off the bag and just mount it directly to the lower control arm.

Should be fine as long as nothing rubs the bag, and the bag is still straight when laid out

Is your frame trimmed at all for the bags? If you're talking about on your 88-98, if you mount the bags to the lca's, they will rub the control arms pretty bad.

ive always plated the lower arm flat and mounted the bag to it.....

i have air ride lower control arms. i have trimmed teh whole socket that the bag sits in. the problem is when the bag is completely collapsed. the lower control arm is completely smooth.

im pretty sure with the air ride arms your supposed to mount the bag to the arm.

like so. if you still have a lower cup you need to cross reference your directions.
