quality hiems

when purchasing hiem joints what should one look for when buying. i want to make sure i get quality parts that wont be junk in a few weeks. i live relatively close to summit and they had a bunch on there site. its really hard for me to order shit because i refuse to get a credit card. i was looking they had 5/8 hiems that are teflone lined and they were 2 piece contruction. just advice what i should be looking for when i buy hiems would be great.

off topic, but you really should get a credit card and buy something relatively small once a month. it does come in handy to have credit.

I run the 5/8" Kevlar lined chromoly heims from ballistic fabrication. those are bad ass. But there only on my watts, i would want 3/4 on link bars

3 piece chromoly heims are probably the strongest you can get. Most quality racecar shops have them. I know www.vpracescars.com has them for sure.

summit has there on brand chromoly and teflone lined. would anyone have 2nd thoughts about running summit joints.

My friend is running Summit brand on his panhard. They're working fine.

I like to use QA1. I get them from Ballistic Fabrication.

Yeah the guy that runs Ballistic is super cool. He once took back an order and gave me a full refund and paid for shipping one way on an order I screwed up.
