HaHaHa fuckers it's my litle secret!!!!well first we rebuilt the motor, painted and detailed the block and cylinder head.we got all the factory fuel injection stuff and harness from pick a part. I was a mazda tech for 4 years back in tha day, so with my trusty wiring schematics I eliminated all non essentials to running the motor. Pauls truck runs everything that the motor requires that effects how it runs, even runs the o2 sensor. The canister, evap hoses and vent solenoids effect emissions when the veh is parked (fuel tank venting) but not how the veh runs> I spent hours and hours lenghtening/shortening, relocating stuff with the wiring harness, necessisary fuses, relays were relocated. the fuel filter is in front of the tank.Oh yeah, we powdercoated a whole bunch of crap too.we did seans datsun durring doinig Pauls or shortly after i can't remember.*********************************************Don't worry,the next one I do will be even cleaner and badderer!!!Jed

Seans datsun was featured in Minitruckin june 1996 under construction, pauls Mazda had a full feature Minitruckin March 2007.

hey! thats a mazda 8 valve F2 in that datsun isnt it?

if a 8 valve f2 is stock in a 92 b2200 then yeah thats what it is, i just picked up a 90 cab-plus tonight that im gonna do a fuel injection swap on i'll be at pik n pul this weekend getting the parts its just a driver so no hiding stuff like the datsun and pauls truck

right on. so y the mazda engine tho. not putting it down but i would have expected to see a nissan ka24e in a datsun. and are u goin to put all the emissions stuff on the 90 when u do the swap or are u just goin to go with the basics? if so can u tell me what ur not puttin in and if there is anything u have to do to make it run right.
