If I put the mass airflow sensor on top of the throttle body? Because I am trying to make an engine cover with the air filter on top of the engine like a carburated engine. It's a 5.7 V8 on a Chevy Suburban. Thanx in advance

I do not see a problem for the maf, but.... The IAT sensor would read hotter air than normal.

I read on other forums about relocating the IAT sensor so it is away from engine heat. So I would try moving it to say the side of the engine compartment.

Good luck.
