swapping parts

i have a 92 dodge dakota with a 318 in it will a tranny from a 96 ram with a 318 in it work in my 92 dakota

auto to auto? you probably have the A500 (904 w/ OD), the 96 should be the 518 (727 w/ OD) if not a different one all together. but, it might still work. should bolt up...making it work is another story.

I think it will fit.I have a 92 too, and I put a NV3500 tranny in my truck from a 1997 Dakota with the 318. It was also a auto-manual swap.
