I have my 96 Ranger layin frame on 20's but not getting enough lift. So I was told the tubular mounts would get me more lift and I can mount shocks. My question is what size bar should I run and if theres anyone running them hows the lift? Thanks Danny

its not neccasarily(sp) tubular mounts...its just making a custom upper mount when the truck is layed out, and the bag fully aired out...(i guess this would be called compressed?) anotherwords if you have i beams and ur bag is smashed make an upper bag bracket that seats firmly on the top of the bag...when u air it up the bag immediatly begins to inflate...if thats still not enough i dont think there is anything else u can do that will get u more lift with a bag, except for upgrading to bigger bags on the front...am i correct ne one?

the problem with rangers are the bags are crooked when lifted/layd out and you cant get the full amount of lift out of the bag correct?

Yeah the bag is crooked with my setup I figured with the bracket being above the bag and not right against the frame I would have better luck and be able to run bigger bags. I pretty much wanted to see if anyone had any problems with this setup and if they got a good bit of lift.

I used 1.5 1/4 wall DOM tubing...I get the full amount of lift my bags offer, like 7" I have built my upper mounts to hold a slam re7 without rubbing. I should get around 8" with that bag.

The bigger bag option would work, if you have room for it. You might have problems with the bag rubbing. You could always mount your bag on the radius rod...would increase your lift depending where you set the bag. I could be wrong but I think this setup needs more air preasure to lift.
