i got a set of drop spindles for my mazda from a buddy. my truck is bagged and bodydropped and also has flipped ball joints. i was wondering if i can just bolt on the drop spindles with my truck the way it is? or will they mess up anything? i dont know much about drop spindles and what affects they have on your front suspension. so any help would be appreciated.

I think the only company that sells drop spindles for Mazdas is AIM and they use S-10 lower balljoints. Also they push the wheel out an extra 1/2" for some reason.

Oh and all a drop spindle does is move the shaft that the wheel rides on up in relation to the base of the spindle. So all you would be doing is raising the wheel up, or lowering the truck down, 2 inches without altering the suspension.

they would work fine on your truck but you must run 16"or bigger wheels on a mazda and you might have to grind the lower ball joint nut so it doesnt rub on the inside of the rim if you run 16's

Your bodydropped there's really no reason you would need them. Most people put them on cause they sit a half inch off the ground. Most of the time its easy to fix without spindles but since you dont sit a half inch of the ground i wouldnt even put them on. Plus like someone said they push your rims out. Sell them

If you truck lays out, the spindles wont make you any lower. Save the hassle of the wheel sticking out and dont use them

mine use stock balljoints..

He could have a use for them if hes going to run a larger wheel though.

hey guys thanks for the help on this topic. yeah my truck has a 3" bodydrop. i was just wondering if i should put them on. but now im just goin to sell the drop spindles. i am going to be running 18" wheels on it next year so would i need them then?

No you wouldnt need them for a 18". I'm not even positive if you really need them if your running bigger rims. They push your rims out and you gotta role the inside lip of your fender. Before i put them on i could lay out and even turn a little. After i put them on when going down i would rub on one side and i didnt drag frame anymore at high speeds anyways. It was a mistake to buy them anyways cause my upper shock mount in the front was hitting something else i cant remember keeping me from laying out, it would've just took 5 minutes to grind it down and lay out. I was just running some 17" cadilac rims. Sell them you got no need for them.
