That's a parallel 4 link. The "standard" of 4 links. Been used in racing and hotrodding for years. You will need a panhard or watt's to keep the rear centered.

I'm doing that and a watt's link in the toyota when I tear the back apart.

Not using one myself but then have been around for years upon years. They are tried and true.

i hate the pan hard bar tho

ok thanks, but a panhard bar would be fine though instead of a watts link right? becoz a watts link is way to much friggin money

as everyone's saying, they've been around and they're a nice set up. simple, out of the way, doesn't interfer with gas tanks, can stay under the bed, keeps pinion angle stable. definently go with either a long panhard bar set parallel at ride height or a watts. but yeah, that is the side of the link set up...hopefully you know that. if you want to know what it looks like laid, just picture that with the bars angled up. though, you got a s10...and somewhat said you don't want to spend a lot of money. you can buy a wishbone set up already made(weld on, not bolt on) for your truck for about the same price. still keep your gas tank under the truck but with the raised x-member. and gives a nice ride.

looking thru puponair's profile...here's a semi-sideview of his laid he had
