i got a set of 19x8 inch axis mod rims and i'm doing a 5 lug yota swap, my question is do i need drop spindles or will flipping the balljoints be enough? i have a set of tubular uppers to solve the balljoint binding issues so thats covered.

also, im a little worried about travel with my 2500's, i untuck about 2 inches of my 195/50/15s as of now with no flipped bj's, is there any way i can get more travel?

Yea good question. I want to run 19's eventually, from what i can tell, the lower control arm may bind up with 19's before you can lay out hard so you'll probably have to cut out a big notch in it where it hits the frame. I've notched mine a little bit, but its probably gonna need more. My balljoints are flipped btw.

i know you can lay on 18s with just flipped bj's from what i understand but no one has covered 19s. i just want some info before i go buying parts.

cris, bddropdak (sp), had his maz on 19s with yota spindles.

you should def get higher than that in the front. i bagged one on 195/60/15s and it laid real hard and untucked by 4 something inches. was crazy. wish i had pics.

i had stock toyota spindles and custom arms using toyota joints.....

if i did it again, i'd buy all new parts and start with dropped spindles, if one is available, theres no reason not to run drop spindles......
